UMMEDBHAI PATEL ENGLISH SCHOOL
CLASSROOMS
Knowledge of our work spread quickly amongst the Fellows at Teach for India. In March 2011, we were engaged to paint 4 classrooms and a passage at Ummedbhai Patel English School (Goregaon West). Our pool of volunteers included investment bankers, students, insurance agents, actors, teachers, accountants and financial planners. These volunteers painted alongside students of the school and brightened up their learning environments
LIBRARY
In March 2013, we painted the Library of Ummedbhai Patel English School. We were asked to create a serene and focused space for students to drown out the noise of the neighborhood. We brought to life an oasis for reading and the students are inspired to read with the inspirational quotes.
