SHIVNER VIDYA MANDIR
CLASSROOMS
Our pilot project. Over holidays and weekends in December 2010, students and faculty of Shivner Vidya Mandir (Andheri East) collaborated with volunteers to give 6 classrooms in their school a vibrant makeover. Not only did the students gain a brightened learning environment, they were also encouraged to rekindle their educational spirit. The impact of our initiative was apparent in their improved attendance records.
LIBRARY
So well did our pilot project go, that the faculty and students at Shivner Vidya Mandir asked us to come back and paint their newly designated library. In April 2014, PricewaterhouseCoopers sponsored the project and brought their employees to paint alongside the students of the school.
