In January and March 2014, The Inner Wheel Club of Bombay – Bayview sponsored the painting of 4 classrooms at Chhatrapati Shivaji Vidyalaya (Dharavi). Volunteers from the organization painted alongside students to give the classrooms a radical makeover. The classrooms had tin roofs which acted as catalysts for heat generation in the summer months. Our effort to cool the classrooms with appropriately chosen colors was a welcome relief.
